Stroke striders

Kate Caldwell, a relatively new team member joined another sponsored event raising money for wheelchairs on the stroke unit in Nottingham (Kate is the one hiding at the back!). She ran a half marathon – FANTASTIC!………….. it was only last weekend you were up those hills! (oh, sorry…………. mountains ;-)

Three Peaks in 24 hours

Two physios from the team – Ruth Sturt and Kate Caldwell- undertook the challenge of the ’3 peaks’ in 24hrs – ‘must be mad’ I hear you say!!!!!!!!!!!! (well, that was what I thought, especially when I saw the weather!) HOWEVER, they did it and helped to raise money for the childrens hospital at Nottingham – WELL DONE KATE and RUTH! Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden will never be the same again!

Our helpful social worker Keith, joined Phil, a friend from his local church, on a sponsored cycle ride around the local churches to raise funds toward their upkeep and very grateful St Wilfreds of Egginton is too!
